Moving

I'm finally moving officially off of Blogger to a standalone domain (scottismy.name) and running my blog with WordPress.

It doesn't look pretty right now but it'll get there. In the mean time if you are still visiting this blog via vsellis.blogspot.com you need to go to scottismy.name.

If you are already using scottismy.name and getting redirected, no changes necessary.

Vacation

I'm taking a few days vacation and having a very important meeting with a Mouse through Sunday March 16th and won't be posting during that time. If you are interested in what's going on you can follow me on Twitter: http://twitter.com/vsellis

I'll resume posting and the mini-course when I get back. Time for a break.

Have a great week.

An Inconvenient Truth for Al Gore

... or climate change or whatever you prefer to call it. I'm not a fan, nor am I convinced of the "science" behind much of the claims because a lot of it is bad science. I have also heard accusations that the only people who don't buy into the Global Warming scare have ties to big oil, blah blah...

I had to post because the founder of The Weather Channel is speaking out against the network and others for the false alarmism.

Read the whole thing here.

It's about time someone picked up the baton and started running in the other direction.

BTW, before you flame me, and do so if you want but before you do, keep in mind; I'm not suggesting that we shouldn't take care of the environment better than we have in the past, only that much of the so called science that supports the theory of climate change is very incomplete and so far from the truth Al Gore would like us to believe that it bears heavy skepticism.

BTW, it snowed in TEXAS last night...

Dr. Citron

Tried this last night at it was pretty good:

1/4 Grey Goose Citron
3/4 Dr. Pepper with Imperial Sugar

Turned out pretty good. My stepdad used to tell me that when they were kids they drank Dr. Pepper warmed up with lemon in it. Texas thing I guess, but sounded pretty good though I've never tried it. As a firm believer that vodka goes with anything Wendi and I tried a variation on a theme and it came out pretty good. Struck me as a summer drink.
